About MINT Editions
Mint Editions proposes thinking from known or relatively unknown authors and artists and that stand out in some way or another. It also offers a platform to known authors and artists to present what may be a different style to that they are generally recognised under. Mint Editions is interested in the quirkiness, simplicity or the innovation the work presents.
Mint Editions finds its niche in addressing gaps in perception and language, as well as addressing four areas of human behaviour that are essential to the survival and growth of the discerning reader:
- idea design;
- innovation;
- generation of interest;
- inquiry and tools of inquiry
It is intended that the hardbacks, podcasts and digital reader downloads from Mint Editions will challenge and provoke the local equilibrium of the reader and through provocation and challenge, bring about a process similar to what occurs in annealing for him or her to reach a global equilibrium. What happens in the annealing process? A basic arrangement of elements is purposely ‘upset’ and repeatedly ‘re-heated’ with a resultant tighter and strengthened formation of elements. Sword blades and metals are strengthened in precisely the same fashion: there is a basic need for periodic annealing if one is interested in forward movement and the stimulation of perceptual inquiry.

Mint Editions aims at simplifying, redesigning and adding value to everyday matters, as well as those that may seem unconnected. There is a difference in perceptual value that every person obtains from information.
